Info wanted on ZT 0770CF ... is this a clone?

Recently acquired this knife and it seems of pretty good quality. However there are some differences between my knife and most of the 0770cf's that I see on the internet. It says ELMAX and then the serial number on about a 45 degree angle below the information printed on blade.

My main concerns are:
1) the printing on knife is not in italics on blade
2) the matte black pocket clip doesn't have the line shapes within the lettering on the "ZT"

I used to have one in Elmax. It looked just like that one.

Nfd538 and mine have the same looking carbon fiber, your cf on yours has even nicer weave like the other zt's I have. so I'd say yours is real but a more recent build. mine serial is close to 5000, not sure how many they've made sofar.

tbo I don't think they cloned the 0770cf yet?

you don't have a clone. they dont make a clone of the cf.

I have the Elmax version of the ZT 0770CF. Bought directly from a ZT dealer. Looks just like yours. I would say you have a real one.

It seems a lot of the "ZT" on the clip has a line type symbol inside the lettering, kind of hard to explain.

I have two ZT knives. Here they are:



The ZT logo looks like yours on both, the pocket clip looks like yours on both.

Both were bought new-in-box from a ZT dealer.
