I would be grateful if someone could identify a SHeffield maker's Mark that resembles an axe crossed with a sword which is on a mother of pearl handled folding knife. It seems that I cannot post a picture unfortunately.
Thanks,
Peter.

Thanks strategy9,
I am a very basic computer user, not having used these photo hosting sites so I decided to take basic paid memership in order to try and post some pics, which I see I cannot do using the quick reply method, so I will try the reply button.
Thanks,
Peter

Hmm, success for some reason,

Hi peter . if you get some better pics of the markings . ask for it to be moved to the traditional forum or burnard Levine's forum . I think that's the best way of getting you some answers :)

Thanks R.c.s,
Difficult to get better pics, perhaps I will ask for it to be moved anyway as someone might just be able to identify the maker marks. Thanks very much for the tip.
Peter

Have emailed the webmaster asking for it to be moved to the Bernard Levine Forum, some time ago, but no response.
Thanks,
Petet
