Guys, 6/25/06

I've either kept the other knives are traded the others through a knife retailer. These are what I'm willing to part with!
1.)I have a new small Gene Ingram SLK knife in S30V new
2.)New Chaxx Warncliff style blade (Some minor blades scratches from the Kydex M2)
3.)Razorback knife in D2 with Buffalo horn. I believe 4" blade (new)

What ar ethe specs on the INgram and the Atwood? Would you be interested in selling either?

Gene Ingram SLK II 2-1/2" blade 6" overall. There is a D2 version on Gene's site listed at $170
Micarata with mosaic pins

Peter Atwood 2" blade 5-3/8" overall---. wrapped handle

Actually hoping to trade for something. if there is no interest I will move to the for sale section at some point.

Actually, I do like the Ingram and Atwood knives. Just trying to roll what I have into some sort of decent folder.

I've had the Chax, Ingram, and Atwood knives on (just a few times) but don't recollect cutting anything with them other than hair. Cannot see a thing wrong with those three except the kydex scratches on the Chax M2 blade.

The Emerson has been carried some but other than needing to be sharpened it looks great

The Recon Tanto has never been carried either. Still shaves hair.

Also, I don't recall the name for it but in some location I have the Cold Steel Bowie in a similar design to the Recon Tanto.

I don't think you're supposed to list trade value's.

I would probably let the lot go for one good folder.
Just thought people should know what I paid for them. I'm certainly not going to toss in everything on a trade for a $250 or $300 folder. I will likely let everything go for the right folder.

Look,

Just received a Mark Banfield fighter
8" blade in 1080 that has been acid etched
S-Guard and pommel have been fire blued
Blackwood Handles
320 sanding on pommel and guard
400 grit sanding on blades
10 OZ Floral carved sheath.
Not the high dollar Banfield Dress Bowie but a good looking simple piece
Nothing wrong with it. Just made some purchases between the time and ordered and got the piece. Want to upgrade to one of people I mentioned.

This piece would pay a good portion of most of these folders.

So this piece and lets say the Ingram should get me a very nice folder. New for new!
If the piece is new I'll check pricing to see if you or I have to kick in a few bucks

Also one of Darrel Ralphs Gunhammer IKBS EDC would also be of interest

Guys,

Some knives I have available for trade:
I have a production Emerson CQC-8 (very good condition) though a little dull at the moment.

Is it a plain edge, waved 8??

Added a couple more knives. If I did not have other fixed blades on the way I would keep everyone BUT the Atwood, Chax, and Cold Steel. To many blades in the pipeline and I don't want to spend any more right now.

Depends on the model but I might go with higher end Spyderco's and Benchmade folding knives. Also depends on the steel. Again, the knives are new and from the makers if all were to go in one trade, they should go a long way toward a custom of some sort.

Also model dependent and folder preferrred on a custom folder from any of these makers. Would be willing to make up any difference, but again, all my knives are new. Prefer the steel to be ZDP-189, BG42, S30V, 440v, and possibly D2

I prefer the knives to have a blade length of between 3.5" and 4". Prefer it to be a little less than 4" as that is the legal limit in my State.

Knives of particular interest but not limited to (except any offers need to consider blade length and material:
William Henry Titan Spearpoint B12-FT zdp-189
Hinderer XM-18
Hinderer Generation II Flame
Lightfoot Catch Dog
Ralph Gunhammer EDC (non robo assist model)

I have a surplus of smaller fixed blades. What I don't have a surplus of are folding knives. I have a couple of Spyderco's, a Sebenza, and a Strider SNG.
What I would like to do is roll these three knives into a nice custom folder of some sort.
