Inherited Large Collection-What to do?

Very impressive collection. You are indeed fortunate to have such a collection and your father still around to enjoy it with you. I am impressed by the wooden case. My collection is very meager by comparison but where would one find a similar (but smaller) collection storage case?

There are several small wooden storage chests out there (with drawers), some a lot more expensive than others. Do you mean something like the one pictured below? I don't know what size you are looking for, this is a table-top version, rather than a floor-standing version. And it is perhaps one of the most "economical". Google "Harbor Freight wooden chest".

Welcome to the forum. Since you have a gold membership you can upload photos from your computer without using imgur as long as the byte size isn't too large.

I apologize for not seeing your question sooner. The chest I have is one that my dad made by combining two map drawer chests into one. They were kits from a company called Yieldhouse. He then made a swing top that hides a steel rod locking mechanism. It's pretty clever.

Gerstner makes a very nice wooden tool chest that would do nicely as well. I believe that is what the Harbor Freight one is based on.

No apologies necessary. Your dad is a very talented man. Thanks for starting this thread. I have enjoyed it.
