Initial Impressions: Chitlange, Chainpure & Kobra (lots of pics)

Yup, quite a lot of Tibetan designs, etc. have Chinese influence. Most have a distinctly Tibetan flavor to them while retaining Chinese characteristics, while some are wholly Chinese. Also, in the old days, a lot of top quality traditional Chinese stuff (handicrafts, pottery, silk, etc.) were highly valued in the Tibetan and Himalayan areas, they still are.
 
I just bought my first khuk which is a kobra. Talking about hand size, I am a woman with large hands (probably small to medium for a guy) and there is definitely extra space on the kobra handle. I can do one and a half hands on the handle or I can move my hand forwards/backwards depending on what I am doing. I really like that extra wiggle room and I think it really increases it's versatility.
