Inkosi at home.

Opps, is this good, bad, or neither? The ball groove. Skimmed over the posts showing the groove as an improvement, then discontinuing it??? This knife locks up solid, no wobble. I cut a bit of soft pine with it and the lock bar did not change position as the bushing types do, which is to move over to the other side.
Yes it's a new knife.

I think it's a good thing. Distributes the lockbar pressure across the groove.

Wish they would have kept it.

Ball grove.
Called CRK, the tech guy said (in my words) it slightly improves the stability, a good feature.
They stopped doing it because they couldn't justify the extra cost. They are fine either way.

:)I'm glad I got it

I'm glad to see it will serve you well. It's always better when you really like the knife you have.
It makes the hunt more satisfied.

Polish your hardware? I remember the old regulars with their blind pins and a high polish. Those large pivots are just asking for a polish. Nice contrast with the dull gray.

Read my mind! ;) Was just today thinking about maybe doing this to my large black micarta.

What strider is that. Not recognizing the pocket clip.

Wrong forum! ;) This is the Chris Reeve forum, and that knife is an Inkosi.

The pocket clip is of my own making. Moved the anchor point as well.
I often change factory pocket clips, the only ones I don't change are the CRK(they are perfect) and a certain wire clip.
