Inkosi vs Small 21 Consensus?

Now matters of preference are a different thing entirely. I think most anything within the CRK family is worthy of comparison for discussion sake, and the Inkosi and small 21 are similar enough being small CRKs that people want to know why they should buy either one. I mean, one of the most common questions that pops up here everyday is "should I buy a large 21 or 25?" "Umnumzaan or Large 21?" "Small 21 or Mnandi?"

Really anything can be compared against each other. Ultimately, most people compare everything to the 21 because it's the "standard" and rightfully so.

I agree and want to say that of course they can be compared but I don't personally think they are close enough to be "either or" comparisons. I would own both but the Inkosi is just a tad short to fit well. I don't like the floating pinky. I guess I'm trying to say in my opinion the Inkosi doesn't replace the 21. Rather it compliments the 25 in a size closer to the small 21.
 
I would find the Inkosi more attractive if it was offered with inlays. For now, the small 21 gets my vote.
 
I think it is going to be largely a matter of personal preference much like the large 21 vs the 25
 
Small for me.
I personally like the looks of it more.
Haven't handle an Inkosi so that could change everything.
 
But, I have had a small 21 Sebenza, and I very much prefer the Inkosi over the 21. I just LOVE how the Inkosi feels in my hand, how it cuts. To each his own. You REALLY have to hold one to see for yourself.
 
Small 21.
Having had the chance to really handle both, the small 21 is just a more comfortable knife to carry in my opinion.
Inkosi definitely is a bit smoother out of the box because of the larger washers I suppose and the clip off the lock bar makes disengaging a lot easier on the thumb. Those are the only strengths in my opinion.
It is just a tad too short. That is my biggest gripe. I can get a great grip on my small 21. It is the perfect size. Unless you have really small hands your pinky falls off the Inkosi.
Thin profile of the 21 also makes it a little more pocket friendly.
My now broken in 21 feels just as smooth as an Inkosi.
 
I've had and used both but still have a small Inkosi.
I love the size of the small Sebenza but prefer the design of the Inkosi.
We need a "Medium Inkosi"
 
I'm a small 21 guy, but I must say the the inkosi with the micarta inlays looks great!

I gave away my small inkosi to a friend,. If I defecated Susan b Anthony's I'd have a set of the inlayed inkosis
 
Personally I think making the Inkosi smaller than the 21 wasn't ideal, IMHO it should have been a tad larger. I love my small 21's but I find the large is too large for me to EDC, same with the 25, something between the two would have nicely filled the gap.
