Inkosi - why three wrenches?

The body and clip screws on the small Inkosi are the same. And the same screw is used for the clip on the large Inkosi.

The clip screw is a button head cap screw. (pivot screws not withstanding) All other screws are oval head screws. The difference is in the bottom of the screw below the head.
Try to swap a clip screw in place of the body screw and see how that works.
As far as size and thread pitch, yes..they are the same.

Don is right..The inkosi has button head cap screws. Had to check my large to figure this out.

I think with the smaller wenches, they might strip out since there is locktite on the Inkosi pivot. theres some Boker knives that have big screws, with smaller 'tool sockets', but I think they use Torx, which is a little less likely to strip out. With no loctite, I completely agree with you, but taking down my 25 for the 1st time required quite a bit of torque as there was lots of loctite from the factory.

Not sure if you made an error there, but there is no way on earth a Torx head screw has less chance of stripping than the hex key on a Sebenza or Inkosi, the hex hole is so deep and literally has zero play, you can torque on that thing til the cows come home. Torx screw heads on the other hand are so shallow that if you are incorrectly lined up or not pushing down with the weight of a truck - you'll strip any screw with strong loctite. That's one of the reasons i love the Sebenza, you can break it down and tighten it all your life and those hex screws are not going to strip out like crappy torx. Cheers

I will add also that I bought my Sebenza 25 ( basically same knife ) when they first came out and after all these years, I still have yet to take it apart. It's super smooth and it has been carried a lot over the years with no need for tear down. Just because something Can be taken apart doesn't mean that it Has to be.

Agree. I ve never taken my 25 apart to clean it, and it seems to continue to operate smoothly.

Here is my 25 broken down. You can see the difference in the pivot.
