I screwed up and my wife saw the pictures of Dr. Bill and his son at Inks Lake (about an hour SW of us)...well, we threw some stuff together and went down to hike around for the day. We had a blast and the swimming area was quite refreshing...I was surprised my son was up to jumping off the 25-30 foot cliff
We screwed up and didn't take the camera, but we explored the back end of the swimming area to some small (really small) falls where we enjoyed the beauty (and heat!). Thanks for inspiring us today Dr. Bill
The cliff jump! My son is getting ready to do the big jump...
I did take some knives, but only used my RSK and my Fiddleback Nessmuk...sadly, no photos:grumpy: I also took along my Fallkniven F1 with Lone Rider's Micarta handle, my Breeden Kelly-Knife, BRKT Aurora, Spyderco Military and my new Swiss Spirit multi-tool...my wife was more interested in hiking, bouldering and swimming...who could argue with this?
