Inlaid Inkosi Pics

Here's hoping the tan micarta goes on the 21's as well! I could also go for a dark blue micarta inlay. That would be lovely.

Holy Smokes!!!!! That "blonde" Micarta is a "must have" for me. Can't wait to see how that darkens with use. Good Job CRK!

Jeebus.......now I have my own "large or small" debate. I have neither Inkosi, now I want both. That blonde Micarta is something that I've "lusted" after for a long time, especially with the blasted slabs. So sweet!

How do you like me now? :p

This pic is soo nice I thought I'd bring it to page 2.

Could anyone tell me if the inkosi is middle finger flickable? Or is it similar to trying to flick an umm? Stupid question I know but I'm curious.

Like I need another CRK, the inlays are sweet. I guess I'll have to force myself to get a gorgeous inlay Insoki

I imagine the tan micarta will show the oil, dirt, and battle scars better than the black micarta. Bring it on!

I was actually told about these new inlays from a sales rep at CRK about 2 weeks ago while placing an order for a UG large 21. Naturally I had to put an order in for one of these too. I was told they should start shipping in about a month or two.

Time for the real question! When can we expect the left handed large inkosi with inlays!?

Not a fan of the Inkosi, but the inlay's do look MUCH better than the ones on the 25.

The shape looks great, and I like the black, but I don't think "natural" micarta matches a blasted finish very well though. I do think the natural will match much better after it darkens from handling.
Black matches really great, and I think a Green canvas may have matched pretty well too. Just my opinion though, which means nothing to anyone but me,lol.

That natural looks killer. Curious if the 21 will be offered with the same choices now? Mercy!

Now I wonder if they will bring back the ball groove with these inlays.....:p Sorry, had to say it to stir the pot.

*grabs spoon*....And fix those washers too! Lol

No,no, no.... I am totally joking. I could care less about the groove or not. Sorry, I'm not intending to derail this thread. :foot:

Love the inlays, the Inkosi and can't wait till they are available.

I would argue the design process that was started with the 25 has now been fully realized. I like my 25, but it is clearly a step along the path to this knife. I think these inlayed models are proof the future is very bright for the CRK line up, and their policy of well thought-out, incremental improvements is still working as it should. I like everything about their looks.....no complaints. Just gotta get one in hand. Hoping the slightly deeper hollow, and slightly higher hardness will also be improvements to performance.

Anyways.......gonna forget about these knives until I can actually buy one.
