Here are a couple of knives I just finished up. Numbers 3 and 4. I took everyones advice from the last time I posted knives, and I think these puppys turned out pretty great, so I would like to get a bit of input on these two. The one I have sharpened is crazy sharp and the edge retention is awesome! I would love to hear if anyone has some suggestions for me, I am always open to improvement. I know what I would do different next time but I would like to hear what you guys think.

They are both made out of 3/16 CPM d2 hardened to 61 by peters heat treat.
Thin flat grind,
4.5 inch blade
9 inches overall length
One is stabilized buckeye burl with blue g10 liners and ss corbys
The other is in spalted maple and black canvas micarta with black g10 liners and copper corbys
Thanks for the help guys, I always appreciate it!

I don't believe I'm a "wise man" so maybe I shouldn't be responding? in any case they both look good to me. Frank

Better than my first few. A couple of things stand out... one, make sure those pins are lined up and spaced evenly. On the one knife, the front pin's too far forward, throws the look out of balance. Two, bevel the front of the scales a bit so that the transition isn't quite as sharp. The handles look a tad bit boxy, but not near like most newbs. Go ahead and round them out some more on the next ones. Good looking knives overall. Dovetails are tight and even.

Nice work!

Wise guy here... does that count? :D

I agree on maybe rounding or contouring the handles more (depends what you are going for) and I personally would move both back pins (on both knives, furthest pin back) up a hair. Overall outstanding work!

I'm really liking your materials, design, grinds, overall execution... my best advice would be to keep up the great work!

I see what happened with the pin.

It is not that the pin is placed to far back it is the scale needs to be bit longer.

You placed the pin in the center of the finger groove, I like to do that as well.

Looks great

Thanks guys I appreciate it! I can definitely see what you are saying about the pins. I have seen all your work and I love it so it's easy to take your advice. I just need to get these things up to par so I can sell a couple and get a 2 x 72! Support the habit!

Dude, those are seriously good looking knives! I don't qualify for wiseman, nor am I really "ol", so I guess I'll fit myself into the "ye" category! Everything looks pretty darn nice, bud. The only thing that I see off the bat is the plunge line on the knife with the black micarta bolster. If you can terminate that plunge cut right before it reaches the spine, I think it would look slightly better. Trust me, it is one of the things I have to really concentrate on and am STILL fighting to make sure I stop the plunge well in advance of the spine. Other than that.....great job and great looking knives.

Thanks a ton, I appreciate your comments and advice! But yeah I totally know what you mean, I actually attempted to do just that, but after I got everything sanded out, the dang thing just crept back farther than I wanted! I learned to make sure and stop your rough grinds well short of where you want your finished plunge to be, so hopefully I will be able to execute that on my next one
