Hix hand forged semi-skinner. I don't know much about the maker except he is from Missouri. Most knife search engines won't do a three letter search, but I do know that the blade is forged 52100 with a differential heat treat and visible temper line. brass guard and stag handle. Blade is approximately 4". This is a beautiful knife that I haven't had the heart to use.
Collector Knives by Sam McDowell small drop point like new, I don't know much about this maker other than he designs the knives and has them made exclusively for him in Seki City Japan by Kai Cutlery Company out of surgical steel. He is known for his scrimshaw but this one is not scrimshawed.
