The Kephart is one of, if not my overall favorite Fiddleback!

I got to play with that green box elder one before it was finished, beautiful handle on that knife.

But I had just picked up a tapered 3/16 one

Cool thread bro! To me, the Kephart is the definitive example of Andy's style.

As is my norm, I only have one (no dupe rule), and it's a plain jane worker, although I think it's pretty cool with its scandi and spalting. Mine's not Insane, nevertheless, I'll gladly add some pics of it.

No problem man. I am pretty sure a Kephart was the first knife I picked up out of every batch of knives I have seen in person since he started making them I agree with Nathan on this. I think Andy's Kephart makes a definitive statement on Andy's philosophies concerning knives and sex appeal

Brian's ongoing comments and photos on various Kepharts form a great ongoing saga of this model.

Nathan's classic black scandi sets the standard for a real workhorse knife.

I agree. A forum member just contacted me and sold me this Black Ash Burl. ANY scandi Kephart is insane. But I like mine better than any of these. They all seem to have something brown smeared on the handles.

I really love the lines and curves of the Kephart

I also reeeeally love the pointy tip for tight spots

It has the really comfy ergos in use

Aaaaand it can hold its own pretty well at the cutting board
