This is a one of a kind custom etched Schrade SCHF10 survival knife. This blade took me a very long time to design and finish (20-25 hours conservative estimate) I am selling this beauty because I need the money right now. I have reduced the price down to $200 being that the steel is 8Cr13MoV High Carbon Stainless Steel and the fact its a Schrade. Considering the amount of time and patience this blade took and the unique factor of it, I think its a fair price. It comes with a ballistic nylon sheath as well. You get a bad ass one of a kind blade and all my hours of labor for $200.

If I had to guess (I have looked at this blade for a bit and I can't resist speculating), the blade was coated in something and the pattern was etched into that, and then the blade was acid etched in Ferric Chloride. It's beautiful and a HUGE amount of work to put into a $30 Schrade. Beautiful work, if you had sanded off the SCHRADE before it was etched I'm sure it would have sold right away.

The process is a form of etching, but as to how exactly i got the pattern the to turn out the way it did. That is something I'm not willing to divulge:cool: AHAH this is a cheaper knife and i know $260 seems like alot for a schrade, but this is more of a display knife and a conversation starter. I plan on doing more higher end knives once i get this one sold. I also have a custom etched Cold steel lawman which I am selling as well. If you are interested i have it posted in the folders category. If you like both I can sell both together as a package for a reduced price.

Heres the lawman i was talking about. If you like both I can do a package deal, both knives for $250. This is way less than i originally intended to sell it for, but considering the schrade isnt a high end knife and the fact i need money im willing to sell both for $250 or possibly trade.

Thats a great idea, I was thinking about doing a gladius or even a movie replica sword as the next project. I was seriously considering doing a sword from The Lord of the Rings or Hobbit as there is a huge fan base and a lot of collectors. That would take a very very long time to complete a quality job, but i can only imagine what that would go for in a collectors auction. Anyone have any other suggestions on future projects?
