I know this has been discussed on the forum, but I always wondered how the actual knife would look like, so I played with my ipad for about 20min just to have a more tangible idea of the product; as you can see, I used a stock photo from Blade HQ and just modified it a bit, please excuse the poor technique and quality but I wasn't shooting for perfect, I think you get the point :D
If someone has more time, patience and better equipment, please feel free to post a better picture.

What are the chances they would make one with carbon damascus instead of stainless damascus? It's rhetorical. I already know the answer. :(

It'll be awesome if that would happen, but for know, it'll only be in our dreams :(

Great job - thanks.
Sign me up.
Has anyone sent CRK a mail, if there is such a thing planned?
Or should we ask Larry from KA?
For me it would be a dream knife.
Hopefully it happens at the right time.

The few times that this has been brought up it received a lot of attention and if I remember correctly it was revealed last time that it is on the distant horizon after other projects- don't take that as Gospel though, please reread the old threads on it before any applause.

Ill be in for a matching large and small Spirograph( cause its still just a dream, right ), or basketweave, or even Ladder- maybe all three :D

Im down for whatever damascus insingo they come out with. I think it will look incredible!

I am not a huge Damascus guy, in fact I sold my first/only Damascus Seb just recently. . . However, a small DT Damascus Insingo with silver hardware would proudly stay in my lineup forever!

CRK delivers great knives and quality but the don't seem to listen to their customers ideas and requests that much, they just do their thing, which at the end produces really good results, still I would like if they would take customer's opinions into consideration when it comes to design (not functionality). This thread is a good example, a lot of knife enthusiasts (not just any person that doesn't know a thing about knives) would like this design to be produced but for some reason they don't seem to care about it that much. Im sure they got a good reason though, too much work as is perhaps...

I tried to order one early in the life of the Insingo. CRK would not take my money.

I'd like to see a damascus Insingo.
It's the variations I'm afraid of....;)
Probably the pace CRK is living by is a good idea.

PS: Spirograph damascus Insingo and micarta inlays.
That would be it. I'll promise.

I wonder how that damascus would match with an ebony inlay?

I asked for one awhile back, but none were planned at that time. Had something to do with the thinner blade grind I believe. I am sure CRK will do one eventually and modify it in some way to meet Chris's high quality demands......... Heck, I would just like to get a large double stud plain insingo. I know they are out there, its just the funding thing at this time....!!!

Hopefully they'll start reconsidering the idea of making one soon, given the fact that so many of us will like to own it, perhaps we can start using persuasion by asking them every day? :D

While I opt for keeping the idea alive and this might be a kind of hint - so that there is a demand - I doubt that bugging will help.
You can't steer them and that's a good thing as it is.

I have to admit that the "demand" thing is vague, as this community is not representative.

If it comes true I'll order one.
