I have heard of folks getting their Small Insingo Micarta. Mine is on order and probably a long time away. Some photos might ease the wait. How about some action photos? I had been waffling on a Large Insingo, not sure that size looked just right. A certain place put Large Insingo Micartas up last night and …

So, show us some Insingo Micarta love, eh?

Here's a few of my Large.

I think my next will be a "dressed" large insingo with either desert ironwood or snakewood.

Though I'm not positive, based on my last email, I think they've stopped taking wood inlayed orders. I hope I'm wrong though, I would love a snakewood.

I ordered one with a wood inlay a couple of weeks ago. African blackwood ftw.

Here's mine. I've had it for a while now, and love the blade shape and the grippiness of the micarta.

I've posted this before, but its the only pic I have handy.

Thanks. More? I thought my Large would be here today but no joy.

I did not ask about inlays but I did ask if it was possible to order an Insingo in Damascus - no such plans at this time.

Kevin, (it is Kevin, yes?) that is some great depth of field for a point and shoot.

I think I have said this before, but it was the Insingo blade that moved me from admiring from afar for a long time to an actual Sebenza owner. The Small Insingo is just so right for EDC.

Yup, its Kevin, and the tiny sensors of the point and shoots inherently cause a wide depth of field :)

I like the large, but heck yeah, can't ask for better then the Sebenza IMO.

Right you are. I had a Nikon 990 which did much the same, but I gave it away when the D200 came out. The first shot evokes images from Whale Rider.

Whale Rider is one phenomenally good movie, btw.

Haha :)

D200 is a great camera. I had the D300 before I got the D3s and gave the D300 and a 17-55 2.8 to my brother for his travels. All fantstic cameras :)

I will have to check out the movie.

Just received my large Insingo Sebenza with Micarta in the mail today. This knife is absolutely beautiful.
