Insingo Micarta anyone?

I just got mine in today, I love the blade design....

My Large arrived a little while ago. It is a batch mate to assoc's, same date and all. It is already dark here. I may attempt flash photography later, but daylight is so much better.

Identify the top dealers, get on their notice lists if they have one, and check their web sites often until you get lucky. But this might be your lucky day - check your PMs.

Why not just order direct from CRK? Is it just the delay? It seems like you can order any inlay you want, as opposed to what a dealer gets in stock (briefly).

I hope to order an inlay soon, and just curious about the pros and cons of different routes.
 
There is overcast and there is dark and horizontal rain. And then there was a lull.

I think that picture is great Jan. Lots of mood in the environment. Rich colors and nice contrast. Thanks for trying it.
 
That is Knife Art 04-50 Small Insingo, Small Insingo, Large Insingo Micarta, Large Desert Ironwood and Knife Art Large Carbon Fiber 07-50, on my front porch shortly after the rain stopped, but still about 95% dark clouds.
 
If you had moved left a bit the reflections of the brick on the blades would have moved and covered the entire blades to the tip. I like it as is though.

Just a thought, I always look at the reflections when I shoot pics of knives :)

I think its great like I said. Very subdued shadows too. The desert ironwood looks tremendous. Thanks.

If you love the insingo blade, do yourself a favor and get one with micarta inlays. I have one and might need to get another for a backup:D
