Insingo owners, I need some input

+1 vote. Large insingo has been on me everyday since March. Can't beat the functional shape and size. I have a small 21 but it's reserved for "suit days".

The small plain Jane Insingo is my favorite knife I have used to date. I prefer it over any other CRK I have including Regs and other 21's. It just seems to call my name and checks off all the right boxes for me.

Never really wanted a Sebbie until the Insingo came along. Excellent knife. I added a Small Insingo after trying the Large--and although the Small is carried more frequently, I'd have a hard time deciding which I like more. I rarely carry any other one-handers nowadays...

I have a carbon scale large Insingo & I find that the blade is well suited for everyday use. Peeling oranges, opening packages, etc. I tend to carry the Insingo much more than my other two CRK's. I do wish I had gotten the regular scale rather than the carbon though.

I don't think you can beat the plain jane insingo. I have a small which I loved so much I got it a large brother.

I called KW 9/5 and talked to Roger. I ordered a large Insingo. It should be here on Monday.

It will be 1 of 4 CRKs that I have. I also have 2 older model Zaan's and a 25.

Thanks for all the positive comments about the Insingo guys.

Edit: it came today.

I got my Insingo from KW today. 1 of the 2 small containers is missing from the box.

I have the CRK grease, I've used it for several years, what's in the other small container that's missing.

I believe that other cutout is for loctite, which is only included with (and needed for) the Sebenza 25. I received my Large Insingo Carbon Fiber from KnifeArt today and it was packaged the same as yours - new box, no loctite.

What made you prefer the regular compared to the carbon?

I recently score a 21 small and was contemplating getting a carbon.

I just picked up a large Insingo with micarta inlays (should be here this week). I had an Insingo a while ago but sold it for some stupid reason. I have regretted getting rid of that knife ever since, so i am pretty stoked about this new one that is coming my way. The blade shape is extremely useful and slices like a dream. I could get that blade light saber sharp on my wicked edge to.

I ordered mine for several reasons. The Insingo was very new at the time and very hard to find. They had just come off of being an exclusive for the original dealer but again, very hard to find. Also, I wanted Micarta inserts and double thumb studs, which made my search even more exclusive. I do not know what the percentage of Sebenzas get double studs, but seems like very few indeed. So ordering from the mother ship was the logical way to go to get exactly what I wanted. I also tried to order an Insingo with wood inserts and/or a damascus blade, which would by definition have included polished surfaces. The response was that they considered the Insingo to be a utility knife and they did not do bling on utility knives.

I resisted getting a Sebenza for quite a while...but eventually could no longer resist the call of the Insingo! :) And I couldn't be happier I got it! Awesome functioning and looking blade shape. I have a real soft spot for wharnies & sheepsfoot shaped blades though. Something about them just speaks to me! Lol!
