I watched it today and thought the spike hammers were pretty neat decided to pound out spike hammer v.1.0 i have no experience drifting holes, but figured if they could make em back them with no power tools back then then i could do it now with no power tools. started with a rail road spike so i wouldent have to forge out the hammer and started to round the point and drifted the hole over the horn of the anvil, the material began to get thin realy quick and the hole was just big enough to get the broom handle through it. in the end it looks kinda wrong because its to long, i think next time on v.1.2 i will upset (correct me if im using that term incorrectly) to get more metal around the eye. is there a better way to do this? advice and feedback are greatly appreciated. thanks guys - Stan
