Patrice's remarkable dagger has inspired me to design a multi-metal guard of my own. In the spirit of Bladsmth's challenge that we all start WIPs, I thought I'd to the same and show what I've decided to start working on.

So far all I have is a guard design, but as Patrice discovered, sometimes that's the genesis point for a whole design. Please pardon my very poor drawing skills.

Progress only in the sense that I have acquired the materials for something like this. I have not yet started on this one.

Now now... you know very well I work at glacial speeds. The ice is moving, even if you can only see that movement at the edge where calving occurs.
