Like Esav mentioned there are no names mentioned the vast majority of people would have no idea who Kelma's sig quote was referencing.

Except in that the quote seems to me to be saying that Craytab (whether you know it is him being referenced or not) is as sanctimonious as the mods here.

That was deliberate mod sass from the source of the quote, while he was flaming out and about to be banned

The only ones clearly being called sanctimonious in that quote, in the way it is used by kelama, are the mods. In my opinion.

But I'm not one of the mods! Thank heavens.

But that's my question...can you post mod sass, or racism, or politics, etc by quoting it in a sig block and get away with it, because it "isn't me saying it, its the other guy."

Honestly my initial take was that it was a shot at the mods...like morrow said, I had no idea who the unnamed individual member was.

They are the only named party.

Just saying what the purpose of this subforum is for. When discussing actual issues it is sometimes not as easy as just ignoring someone. If that bothers you maybe don't click on this specific subforum. Your comment was not needed, a waste of space here, and unproductive. This isn't W&C.

Very good points. Take me and my very delicate sensitivities out of this. The quote is insulting the mods. I don't think Kelama thought that far ahead or figured that out or he might not have done it. He was just looking to get at me. The insult to the mod staff was sort of an unintended consequence. As you guys might know he does a lot of mod ball washing in the GB&U.

It is there none the less. The quote is from the guy who got banned for doing the very thing he does in the quote: sass the mods.

Your comments on my comments are not related to the issue you want addressed, I can see how Morrow could have thought I was taking a dig at Karda. The mods are aware and don't need any protection from users. You made your point and having made it decided that my implying you should put him on ignore is how I would act in W&C.

In hindsight it was unproductive, you want to be offended and you want his sig changed and see his reaction.

If we see something offensive, it will be dealt with. End of story. Besides, many folks should do some introspection on their own behavior before calling to light the actions of others. Trolling has many forms, some can be good natured, some can be simply psychotic ranting, and others can just downright aggravating. As for the other special snowflakes with misleading user titles and, let's not have another sanctimonious lecture please, we definitely don't need that. We have a search function to get our fix if we need it, with literally hundreds and hundreds of posts on the very subject.
