So, I got some 7/8" W2 from Kalimalena. He had purchased it from Don Hanson. I thought it would be the perfect size to make an integral. So here is the result. I (obviously) forged this from this W2. I clay coated it for a nice hamon and polished it to 2000 grit to bring out the details.

The handle is micarta, with micarta bolster/guard. It is shaped and sculpted to fit the hand well. It has a real nice grip and feels very comfortable.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife fits in well and draws easily. It has a quilted pattern I stamped into it.

Dimensions
Blade - 5 1/2" tip to handle
OAL - 10 7/8"

Price - $245 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

This is also posted in other places, so the first time stamp gets it.

Looks incredible man!! I'm glad ta see you were able to snatch some of that W2 as well.. I noticed I got the very last batch (out of all of the sizes) and you happened to comment right after me, so now I don't feel as bad :D ;) I got the 7/8" dia as well and have been lookin forward to do the exact same thing and make an integral. I gotta ask, is that a single piece of micarta or was the tang mortised? Once again, I really like how this turned out (same with every single blade you make).. Thanks for posting, now I'm even more inspired to make one, even if I don't have a press  lol

Paul. Kalimalena was kind enough to part with one more shipment of steel. He told me I was the absolute last one. I was pretty happy with how it turned out consisting integrals is not my normal thing. Yes the tang is mortise. The end of the tang is only a half inch or so from the butt.
