Intense sunshine, dehydration and some pictures of my hike

I was in Snowdonia once in June, it was sunny and 70-plus in Llanberis. Up on the top of Snowdon it was very windy and unpleasantly cold.
I have to admit I went the easy way, by train! The view though is amazing, I could see the whole of Anglesey.

There are no longer any trees as the landscape has been exploited intensively by man for 6,000 years, both by farming and by quarrying. You can see a lot of old quarrying in pic 4.
