Agree. Lot of work sanding them to glaze, plus you can get a nasty cut along the way

Love Opinel ... hate the hot spots because of the way the rear of the handle is shaped and hits my palm
Doesn't matter the number Opinel ... 6, 7, 8, 9 (ones I've tried) ... that rear of the handle doesn't feel natural in my palm. YMMV
