:cool:...That article has been around the forum quite a few times. No matter how often it shows up I never tire of reading it over again. It's message is one that just never seems to get old to me. Inspiration, motivation, imagination and dedication to an ideal all seem to descriibe Buck then as well as now...:thumbup:

i have seen many more and inter viewed many former employees via phone...

i have some of my own information and some day i may wright an artical...

AL did not invent the 110 he was there but had resverations on it at frist..
the original number of 110 was used on a skinning knife like a current 103
there were 4 knives that were used as "insperation' for the folding hunter
the main inspiration come from one of the 3 knives made in Canada...
Hoyt had some help and advice -[read taught?] - on making the hoes last longer..
one of Al's brothers become a very well know Preacher...
