Off Topic Interesting handle finish from WE Knives

Looks like something the Joker would carry, I'm not the Joker. But then again I don't even like 99% of Mokuti/Timascus/Damasteel personally.

I know that the finish used on the Tyche model looked cool, but wore off easily just from your finger rubbing on it when deploying the flipper, and on the edges as well as the rubbing of the knife in your pocket, too. Not sure how durable this finish is,but if it wears easily its going to look real bad.

Could work well as small detail, maybe as liner but that’s a bit too in-your-face

Yeah, I'm starting to think this is a painted finish. I had heard that about the tyche, too.

I saw 2 Tyche knives with this issue they were on the exchange I messaged one of the sellers to confirm the wear just from their finger rubbing on the spine of the handles when the flipper was pushed.I think that sparkley finish it too Wayne Newton for me....

Did the finish wear off completely? How does it look now in comparison?

In the spots that it rubbed the most the finish wore off completely. It just looked like the original silver metal finish under it.it did not look good with that finish worn away. What ever that finish is looks good but basicly rubs off with use.

Tone down the color and add some grip to the titanium and I'm in.

In Minnesota we’d say, “Jeez, that’s really differnt”. It’s not a compliment.
