Interesting knife concepts.

I have, but not to failure yet, as I couldn't get it to fail.
Perhaps we should post about it HERE though, so as to not hijack this thread.

I think the Kalista is an interesting design concept. I wouldn't purchase one but it is definitely interesting. The thin handle and wide blade, large finger grooves.

I find most of Janich's designs are interesting but overtime they don't replace a regular blade style. I do think the search for a new blade concept is interesting. He created the Ronin, Yojimbo and Kalista. I know he has done a few others.

I'm putting in for the SnG. Lots of folks don't see the design elements, just the price tag. The combination of features is really unique, apart from the blade steel, titanium framelock and G10 scale combo, which is definitely out of the mainstream for production knives.

A flat ground droppoint is actually hard to find in the folding market, much less one with finger choils. Add the oversized pivot, and the completely different handle ergo's that improve when wearing gloves, you get a purpose built tool that has nothing in common with the average "tactical" knife, but does it all better.

Certainly not another black liner locked sabre ground serrated tanto.
