My Douk-Douk came slathered in oil and wrapped in an orange kitchen J-cloth with a handwritten French note, that was interesting.


Also I've heard Cold Steel will put Tootsie Pops in the package if you buy directly from them or send a knife in for repairs...

Awesome, yeah I like unboxing vids. Especially when they are from trades or bought used. I've seen a few surprises.

I've thrown in the odd trinket when shipping stuff. Never received anything, but I figure I might make someone smile by throwing in a knife I don't use, and that makes me happy.

How about the Fällkniven Gentlemans Pocket Knife.
It comes in a displaybox and sometimes also with Fällkniven Band-Aids!

I've heard that Mora carving knives come with a bandaid. That's pretty cool.

I think one place sends a lollipop, while another sends gummy bears.

Gil Drake ships strops wrapped in leather tied with cord and a little piece of compound.

I think CRK sends a birthday card and maybe a cloth?

Benchmade ships with a drawstring bag and class specific boxes.
