interesting places in Scotland?

Hi all,

End of April, beginning of May, me and a buddy will be touring Scotland for a week on our motorcycles (me on a K1100RS, him on a VMax). I was wondering if there are any bladesmithing-related sights to see (also interested in old industrial stuff, like steam-mills etc). All tips are appreciated.

Mostly all me and my wife did was castle hunting (great fun)...took in a few distilleries(great single malt!) and stayed in country B and Bs. Look around Edinburgh for some museums...there's a good museum at Culloden about a great battle against the mean old Brits!...also Sterling Castle! Blair Castle is another that had a lot to see! Search online for the National Trust of Scotland and also Historic Scotland which is a trust that takes care of cool places to see! Been over there three times and would love to go again. I did see quite a few fine swords in all the different places! Have fun and watch out for the red cars and land rovers bearing down on you!
