The people who saw the pics said it was still difficult to tell. Im sending it in tomorrow for a VERY basic spa treatment, sharpening, etc.

You'll want to avoid anything that changes the knife if you're looking to maintain collector value. No sharpening, blasting, washers, etc. Make sure you note that on the service form, and put an extra note in the box as well. Reissued card with approximate manufacturer date and any notes on the blasted blade would help you out.
 
That's a great suggestion, Ill definitely do that. Sharpening is an absolute necessity though, the original edge is atrocious, and not at all up to crk standards. Its dull as can be.
