Grey just means you wanted to give rep (good or bad) but don't have any to give ... right? That is the way I read Cougar's thread a while back. I don't think usually get any chance to sign your name in this case. We were talking about this a couple weeks ago too, same situation.


Personally I give negative rep only to BTC, and that is because he asks for it ...

If I have a problem with something someone wrote, then I'm going to bring it up in the thread, if it is that important to me. Most likely I just misunderstood what someone was saying, or the tone in which they were thinking. Not their fault, not mine. But not an excuse to go bashing.

I like the rep system as a quick way to send simple messages. Yeah, I know the personal email/message thing is there ... maybe I'm lazy.

I wouldn't worry about it, Svashtar. Considering that you and Thomas Linton have recently been dinged for no real reason whatsoever, it seems like someone with issues is just taking potshots and random people. I'm probably next but "frankly my dear, I don't give a damn!"

No...freeway snipers are real. Rep is just pixels on the screen...not even really related to the people we talk to every day in postings, PMs, emails and especially telephone calls or actual visits.
