I thought something funny was going on but couldn't work out what the problem was. I tried to bid on an overseas item earlier in the week. Seller clearly indicated they shipped overseas and shipping price was in the listing. Item wasn't a knife and no way subject to legal restrictions but ebay would not allow the bid.
