International members

You're welcome, but where are you from? ;)

I am spyderco fan from Thailand,my collection is about 100 which I bought
mainly from respectable sellers here.I love to buy from ebay or US sellers but
lot of problems occured so I stopped.Cheers for all your nice guys in this forum.

If you want to post pics of your knife or collection a lot of people use photobucket.com. It's free to register and use. Not meaning to insult anyone's intelligence, but I don't know who knows what.

Most people will be able to figure out how to post their uploaded pictures with a little experimentation.

But a quick tutorial:
Register at photobucket.com
Upload pictures
Click Share
Click the "Get Link Code" tab
Then find "IMG for bulletin boards & forums"
And copy either the full size or thumbnail link code
Paste into your message

And submit reply. That's it.

Great Thread Amaranth.

We have always tried to promote International communication.

Regardless of our native language, we all speak "knife".

This is a very good group.

I'd love to visit Thailand sometime. From what I've seen of it on television it is a lovely country.

vichitr, glad that you're here. You should post more often. I've sure we'd all like to see your knives and learn more about your country and it's traditional knives and knife laws. Are you able to carry your Spydercos in Thailand or is it against the law?

Greetings from Cape Town Sal.....;)
It was really great to see you in Louisville after so long. I look forward to seeing you in Atlanta in June and having a chance to reciprocate and take you for dinner...

By the way I hope you don't mind me using your quote on my sig line......It is one the best sayings I have ever read...

Best wishes and regards
Steven

PS Des and Linda Horn also send best wishes.......:)

Great thing about fora such as this is getting the news and product announcements way early, along with tips on where to purchase something that gets your attention. Not too many knife shops where I live and inventory is pretty limited.

Same here. Prices are totally absurd-asking for a Phoenix at the same price as a Sebbie. That's ABOVE MSRP!!

I go to Portugal and Spain often and have taken quite a few Spydies to give away to friends. At first they all look quizzically at them, due to the unusual shape of the knives. Then they are blown away by the quality of the construction and the sharpness. They all have quickly become fans and ask for more frequently. Unfortunately, it's very hard to get a Spydie there. I'm spreadin the love across the Ocean...

This is a cool thread! its awesome to get to communicate with people all over the world that share a common interest in knives:thumbup:

Hi Steven,

Thanx for visitin'. Yes, Louisville was fun.

See you in Atlanta. When are you coming in?

Say Hi to Des and Linda for me and ask them wheres my knife? ;)

Thank you and welcome to Bladeforums.

Happy new year all of you.

I registered 4 years ago and have learnt a lot. About knives of course and about english as well. Mine was one of the worst ever seen here but, thanks to you, i slowly improve it.

The Spyderco subforum is one of my favorites. I read a lot but don't post much, the reason being that i don't own many knives. 5 Calypso jr. and a full size Manix. I will certainly buy a Stretch and maybe a Native but the two models i own yet are so well designed and made that i consider my needs pretty well covered.

dantzk.

Saying hi to all you knife lovers from the Netherlands... :D

I love reading the stories on these boards and seeing pics of the most amazing knifes. I must say I'm sometimes jealous of the great prices and cheap shipping you guys in the USA get... not to mention the guys that can visit the Spyderco factory and get amazing deals there.

:o

Sal I am hoping to be in the US at the end of May...The soccer world cup starts here in June and I want to miss the madness of the whole planet visiting SA to watch a damn soccer game:D

I hope to be in the US for about 2 weeks and then visit my Folks in London.

I shall see Des next week hopefully and suitably chastise him:)

All the best to you and all at Spyderco for a wonderful 2010.....

Kind regards
Steven

I'm a long-time lurker, not much of a poster anywhere, I just like to read and look at knives.

My first Spyderco was the Paramilitary, then Delica 4, then Sage 1, then Sharpmaker, then Endura 4 Emerson Opener, then Delica 4 Emerson Opener.

On order are Sage 2, Police 3 G10, and Street Beat.

:eek:I'm a Spyder-addict!:D

Hey Landry, I'm Malaysian, how did you manage to get your hands on the Spydies? If yes then how are the prices? Does your customs allow folding knives? I'm getting tired of greasing my people to get my steel :)

PS : Got a Ti ATR (PE), Rescue D'allara, Military (one PE and one combi), Endura (one combi VG10 and one PE ZDP189), SS Poliwog, large Manix PE, Manix 2, and a Sharpmaker (of course).

Wanting: Another SS Poliwog (love them to bits!), SS ATR (serrated), P'kal, Phoenix and of course the BISON!

Happy new year all of you.

You don't own many, but they are the right kind of knives.;)

I am new to Spyderco as of last year. My first was a Tenacious, which only whett my appetite for and Endura 4 ZDP-189, E4 G-10 handle, a Carbon fiber Kopa, and finally a Sage I is on the way.

The Sage is the knife I have wanted ever since I laid eyes on it. That is the ultimate small EDC.

The size of one's collection isn't important, it's how you use it!
