Lately I've been trying to trade a few knives to get good folder of some sort.
Not mentioning no sites but I've contacted several. Of those I contacted, three have been what I consider less than perfect. Two have never bothered responding at all (more than 1 e-mail) and one wanted to see pictures of my trades. I sent the pictures and never had a response to them.

I know people are busy, I am! I just don't understand these sites that conduct their business. If they are not interested, I understand! I don't understand the lack of common courtesy in their being no response at all. For sure, when I do have something they consider the cat's meow, I will not be trading with them. Again, not because they could not use what I had for trade but simply the lack of courtesy. How long does it take to say " Appreciate your considering our business but I just don't have any need for those particular knives right now"

We have a 'for trade ' section here at Bladeforums, and it is open to all members.

You can list your items for trade, then list what you'd like in return.

Please be aware; you cannot actually 'sell' your items here unless you are a paid Gold member or above. Please click on the link in my signature line for details.

Good luck!

It sure can't hurt to try listing your knives that you want to trade here on BladeForums. You are likely to have as much luck here as anywhere.

Sorry, been unable to spend anytime over the past couple of days.
Yeah, I keep saying I'm going for the Gold but I've not done it yet.

Really, the dealers in question simply had knives that I liked. They said buy, sale, and trade! I just assume some common courtesy goes along with operating an internet site. Seems like good business practices are even more important over the net since not everyone knows what "GOOD" people they are!
