I actually haven't used it too much, I got the service with the intention of being able to Google areas that I happen to drive to. I make lots of spontaneous trips into random places that I know nothing about. Maybe an email here and an IM there...

I think that a quick POP check or google search might not kill you, but you tube and the such use lots of data and you might end up like this poor guy :mad:

Damn, I would have been pissed and probably blown a gasket if I saw even a percent of that bill in the mail :eek:

Lucky guy got it down to a somewhat reasonable amount. I had a charge when I was working "offshore" on a platform when cingular was still cingular. I had free cingular to cingular and used the phone to call my fiance (girlfriend at the time) and when I finished the job and came home the bill came in for $1,600 :grumpy: Being young and naiive, I was only able to negotiate it down to $1,000. I paid little by little, but gave up with cingular and went with a pre-paid phone for about 2 years after that happened. I still owe about $250, but they can shove it. I'll pay them off when I graduate and can laugh at $250 :D
