Into the storm knife

So the movie into the storm has been out for a while and it is not a "visionary film" it was entertaining. More to the topic at hand there are several scenes where a pocket knife ( I think a SOG flash 2) was used not as a weapon but as a tool! It was so refreshing to see a knife used like that in a movie. Just thought y'all would like to know.

Watched this last night and figured I'd search before I made my own thread. I thought it looked like a SOG as well but wasn't sure on the model. I agree it was nice seeing a pocket knife being used to save a couple lives, rather than end them.

Watched it recently also and I agree with the OP. A quick, one handed opening knife carried by a "kid" and used as a tool. Dad taking it away, but then giving it back again. Good stuff.

Edited to add: Didn't like how they presented the "redneck" folk, tho.

I would just like to say...When the dad dives down to cut son loos it has a serrated warn cliff blade not like the flash..But yes I agree in the last seen it looked like a flash 2
