Into The Wild w/ a 110?

Last night, I watched, Into The Wild. There are several scenes in which the main character is using what looks like a 110 with a solid blue handle.

Was it a Buck? What was the blue handle material?

I think they made some 426's in blue????

The 426 was a 110 blade in an all synthetic handle.

This one had the brass frame, but it appeared to have soild blue scales.

Maybe something like this, but it looked more blue...I think.

It sure looked like a Buck 110.

That's a really great movie. I rented it last night. It took me two weeks to get a copy from Blockbuster. The girl at the counter said it's one of their top rentals.

From what I read online it seems that in real life Chris McCandless carried a Swiss Army Knife.
