Cool. I had a TE9 and can say that it was a lot of fun. I am curious what you mean about "surprisingly accurate." My Tec9 surprised me when I could hit the side of a barn from 50 yards. Anything quantitative you can share? I imagine a new one is better than my old one.
 
at 50 yds i was hitting center ring with ease with this pistol. i dont recall inch grouping but it was pretty good. i was expecting it to be a pretty hard pistol to be accurate considering that it has the rep of a gangbanger toy. i like it alot, but i need money for a busse ak. :D
 
They re a lot of fun. Glad yours doens't have the "spray and pray" problem some of them did. Then again, maybe it is the shooter!
 
there is not an additional barrel with threading, but there is an adapter that fits on the end of the barrel to accept thread on accessories such as front grips, dummy silencers, vented heat shrouds, etc. i dont know the exact size of the threads, however it is the standard size as the ones on the TEC-9 and Cobray series.
 
I cant even own that thing in California, can I????? I'm interested, but will have to do some research on this. Do you know??
