Intrepid Sharpening

I'm sending 2 Intrepids to Walter Birdsong for Black-T coating. I'd like to send the knives back to Buck for re-sharpening. Is this easy to do? Where should they be sent? Any idea on what the turn around time is?

You can call the customer service department at 1-800-735-2825 to find out about sharpening them. They usually charge $5.00 per knife and the turnaround is a couple of days for those of us who walk in. It shouldn't be much more for sending them in. They can tell you at Buck.

By the way, I like the idea of Black-T on these knives. Birdsong does a good job and they should look awsome when they are done. How about posting a picture when you get them back?

Thanks for the info Dennis. Walter is now offering his coating in an OD green, which is the direction I'm leaning. I'll try to borrow a techie friend's digital camera for the pics upon return. Thanks again.
