Good afternoon,

My name is Mike Dills and I work for Culpepper and Co., Inc. I must admit that I am a newby to this forum but I do know my way around the internet and computers. I've recently come aboard at Culpepper and Co., Inc. and will be posting occasionally both for my employer as well as to learn things for myself. Joe had asked me to get on here for both purposes so I'm doing just that. He said I could learn a lot here.

He also asked that I post this: We will be coloring Amber Stag the week of October 12th. So if anyone out there needs their stag "Amberized", it needs to arrive here by 10/09/15. We will have a mahogany run as well sometime in November. Details to come.

Anyway, thanks in advance for answering my questions and having a great place to help me learn.

Mike

Glad to have you on the board, Mike. I enjoyed visiting with Joe at ICCE, although I wasn't able to make a purchase this time.

Welcome Mike. A lot of us here have used Culpepper for stag. Normally, we discourage sales type posts from members unless they are knifemaker or service provider members, but this is more of an info post, so I am good with it. I will ask that you remove the website link in your signature. That is not allowed for Registered and Basic members.

Feel free to post about how Culpepper dyes and works stag. Most of the guys here have never though about changing a piece of faded white stag into lovely amber or mahogany stag.

Talk to your boss. A dealer membership will allow you and Culpepper to sell in The Exchange and allow more info on the threads you post. This will pay for itself almost instantly, as stag is a highly sought after product in The Exchange. If you doubt this, call mark at Burl Source and ask his opinion.

Thanks Stacy,

I apologize I'll address the signature part and I'll take a look at the rules. Not looking to get on probation before I even really get started. :) I'll mention the member thing to Joe. It would probably fall on me to post from that perspective as everyone here is over loaded each week as it is. Thanks again....
