Hey my name is Joel Brazzoni and I've been lurking for about a year now, I love this forum and all the juicy discussions about metallurgy and knife making. This forum has really pushed me to do my best quality work especially after seeing the excellent work posted by members.
I enjoy heat treating my knives as much as I do making them, this year I started using S30v and S35-VN and treating them in liquid nitrogen after the quench.
Here's a couple of knives I've of done this year.

Thanks once again to all who post here and share their knowlage.

Thanks for showing your progress. The blades surely look like good camp choppers. The knives without guards are excellent.

I would work on your guard shaping more now. Go online and look at the shape of some guards. They are much thinner at the finger guard part. The big blocky end you have been making looks unfinished.

Hi Joel. I think your knives are exceptional and really appreciate you sharing them with us!

Nice work. I'm sure you sold the last knife in your line up to my nephew Mike.. I would like to start making knives again. Where are you getting your supplies from? I'm in Cochrane but I go to Sudbury a lot my kids are in School at the University.

I 2nd that on all the quality info given freely here by seasoned members. It is invaluable to newbie's like me. There are some makers closer here to home but they choose not to share their info for whatever reason.
So, a huge Thank-you to all those that have offered their help here, you are very generous to help us.

Thanks for the complements guys means a lot.
I also have been hard at work on the advise given here.

I traded that double edged beast to Mike for a 14" grinding wheel, I get my steel from Aldo and my handle material and grinding belts from Usa knife maker or Janatz supplie.
I have a some steel and handle material I could give you to get going again.
