Hey, I've been lurking for a while now, and since I'm going to take on the 'making fire challenge', I figure a formal intro is necessary.

I'm in CO, I drive an old land cruiser, my wife is beautiful, my two boys 6 & 3 are awe inspiring, if somewhat insane, I run a small printing company, I don't have enough time to enjoy all that CO has to offer... That about sums it up. Here's a few pics of the two Becker's I run with. I got my brother a bk14 he loves as well. I'm also sharing the Becker-Love over at the colorado-ar15 forums. There's a good bunch of people here and there...

I'm most anxiously awaiting the opportunity to buy a BK5 and the Tweeners of course...

Cheers,
Matt

I'm most proud of my sheaths, I left the extra-long strap at home, but you can see how they could be integrated together to be a double sheath...

Dust off the snow and come in the cabin. Good to have you.
You'll figure out the picture thing. I had to have Derek post a tutorial.

Welcome. Those be some funny looking beckers. I've never seen the ultra rare blue becker question mark :D just kidding of course. Here's what ya do, upload pics to photobucket, its free, copy the IMG link of the pic you wanna post, paste directly into your post. No need for the image uploader on the reply window. Voila.

Where are you in Colorado? I would like to hang with some of the beckerheads, but there don't seem to be that many of us in Colorado.

I'm in the metro area. Louisville, off 36...

I can see the pics... you guys can't? LOL. I'll rehost somewhere else...

Those pics workin' now? I was trying to insert them from a my co-ar15 post... Lesson learned, I started a photobucket account.

Thanks for all the welcomes guys...

Although I like the idea of the cord being available if I ever need it, I think I'm going to try my hand at diy micarta this weekend. Junked khakis and black T-shirt 'grain'. I'll document the process and if it's not a complete failure, I'll be sure to post up the results...

Cheers,
m.

Welcome. We are going to have enough Colorado Beckerheads for our own gathering soon!

Did you make your sheath? It looks great.

I'm all over getting together! We've got a friend-of-family cabin we may be able to check out next spring. I bet it's already snowed in, but would be a great out of the way place for a beckerhead bbq! 4wd required, bet all you CO-heads prob assumed that already. I can seat 7 in the cruiser... A few more heads, beer, beef...

Beer beef and beckerheads, sounds like matts gonna fit in nicely around here

I definitely like this idea. I'd be down for it.

Good to see another wheeler out here. I'm poor, so my jeep is pretty basic (97 ZJ 3in lift and 31's, open diffs), but it takes me anywhere I've been with it so far.

Also, while I couldn't make any gathering anytime soon, the CO would be the closest to me, and I'm familiar with that area, so I'd be more likely to go anyway.

Also, that combo looks great. We hope to see it more in the future :).

Hi Matt,

Welcome to the family. Nice looking rig you have there. And I mean that in a manly sort of way.

CO. My wife and I are thinking of retiring there someday. New York has just become too insane.
