Introducing myself - Question about Kabar Ankle Holster BK11/EsKabar

Its real easy. Get you 7' of paracord. Melt the ends. Tie a standard knot in the end. Make a loop. Put the loop through the top hole. Pull it through until the knot catches. Make a loop about 1 1/2"-2" long through the sheath. Do the same on the other side top hole with the para only no knot. Then take it and wrap it around and around. I just looped it through and put a knot in the end to hold it. Cut off the excess. I took a bamboo chopstick and raised the para high enough to hold the firesteel, and slid it in underneath.

Nice set up Moosez45. I wish I could carry my BK-11 or Eskabar like that, but unfortunately, that would be a felony here in California. Even for law enforcement personnel. Maybe its for the best though. I'd probably slice open my "love handle" every time I tried to re-sheath my knife if I wore it like that.

I just bought the BK 14 for ankle, and small of the back/hip carry. Thank you so much for the info but how did you do the handle?
 
Just got mine, trust me you'll love it ! Moose thanks for the pix, this helps me a lot. Could you do a step by step for your handle wrap please?

Eat copious amounts of Pizza, Hagen Daaz and drink equal if not greater quantities of beer. Sit on the couch and watch several seasons of sports and you'll be there in no time.
