Introducing myself to BF and the traditional knife world...

Sorry about your wallet... we accept no responsibility for the ensuing madness... I was warned and feel its my duty to provide this disclaimer to you 😁

Welcome to the most friendly and cordial forum on the entire www. I find myself checking in on this forum at least half a dozen times a day it seems. Every morning starts with a cup of coffee and the Traditional Knife forum. It's taught me everything I could ever want to know about traditional pocket knives and I've made many friends here along the way.

Post a "WTB" (there's a forum on the site for it) for the 77 Barlow you seek and someone will come along and have one or know of where to get one.

Primble's knives and pics will one day have a wing in the Smithsonian. These old classic knives are truly beautiful and the variety of them is what makes it fun.

Post pics of your knives when you can.

Welcome! The Porch is a special place on the Internet where ladies and gentlemen behave like, well, ladies and gentlemen and our common interest leads to all sorts of interesting discussion. I've learned so much here!

We're happy to have you here. Pull up a seat, and join in the fun.

Thanks for all the greetings! I made my way over to the exchange and posted in the WTB, thanks arizonaranchman and Ook Your warning came too late! I purchased a TC Barlow on the exchange here also to go along with the GEC#14 and Case... all of which I have yet to receive since they were only ordered on Saturday/Sunday. No more purchases until I actually get them, need to use them a bit.

Just a quick echo of the sentiments of so many others: welcome to The Porch, JITDC!:thumbup:
Primble's perfect pics are quite persuasive, aren't they? ;)
And now I see that you've used the Exchange to "feed the fever"!! :D
Congrats on your new acquisitions; looking forward to seeing some photos after your knives arrive!

Welcome. We're always happy to have a new member. There's plenty of room, as this is the largest porch around. :D

Welcome. Always nice to see another Tennessean take a seat on the porch.

The info and pics found here are certainly the driving forces to create a knife budget. The folks, and the character of those folks, are what will keep you here once the budget has been maxed.

I'll keep an eye out for a 77 and let you know.
