Hello all! I just joined the forum and thought I would introduce myself by showing my blade collection. What do you think?

Quite a diverse accumulation of blades. Welcome to the forum. Looks like you're having fun with the hobby.

You're going to need to get rid of that Bear Grylls knife and get a Spyderco. Welcome!

I like the tenacious for a budget EDC blade or a dragonfly for a small 5th pocket knife.

You poor stupid man. Delete your membership quickly. So far it seems you've managed to remain on the inexpensive side of the hobby. Lurking here will only cost you all of your spare cash.

Spyderco has something for everyone by the way. Even their cheap Chinese made knives are great value. Find one that you can afford and that tickles your fancy. Beware of auction sites though. There's a lot of fakes.

In a year or two you'll look back on that photo and definitely have a different perspective on what's in there...

Welcome to the forum! Stick around and soak in some of the knowledge. There's a ton to go around and something here for almost everyone.

Spyderco Endura is a great knife. You get a pretty big blade in a very light package. One of my favorites in my small collection. You may want to check out the Kershaw Skyline as well. Welcome to the forums!

I have a Bear Grylls like that my grandson gave me as a Christmas gift so I will always keep it. How ever I would second geting a Spyderco Paramilitary 2. Welcome to Blade Forums be sure to read the sticky especially those relating to new members.

The Bear Grylls knife in the picture is not actually half bad, especially now that there is a plain edge version out. However, for forty dollars — when a Spyderco Tenacious or Kershaw Leek can be had for less, is kind of ridiculous. The Bear Grylls knife should be sold for twenty dollars.

Welcome to the forum. Your collection is indeed diverse. Stick around, learn a lot and prepare yourself to spend mayor cash. Like any collection this hobby doens't come cheap.

The spyderco Native 5 LW is a great EDC that has served me well.

Yea. No sh**. I signed up here cause I always ended up at this forum from search results. I been on here for a couple days and already spent $200+.

Welcome to the forum. It looks like you have a lot of your bases covered as far as uses and styles.

I sense some expensive upgrades in your future.

When I first joined this forum it was for the same reason. Every single search I typed in came up with this site. I put off joining for 2 or 3 years and just lurked and read that whole time because I didn't want to "get all addicted to knives like the rest of those yahoos on that bladeforums website"... So much for that...
OP - welcome aboard. Read a lot, post when you can, have FUN. Fun is the key. If it ain't fun, why be here, right?

The Bear Grylls pictured appears to be a folding combo blade model that can be bought new for less than $20. Mine is a keeper because my grandson bought it for me. Sometimes where something comes from means more than what it is.
