Shinshi means a number of things in Japanese. A 'shinshi' can be a gentleman, but it could also be animals in Japanese mythology. The SJ shinshi is designed to capture the style of the Tanto in an EDC. The are constructed of 440C Stainless with 416 Stainless bolster and come in a series of Scale materials: Both Green and Black G10, along with Bone and Walnut. The black and Bone handled Shinshis come with a slightly shorted scale, while the Green G10 and walnut are full length scales. Overall length is 8 1/4 inches (green handle is slightly smaller) with a 3 3/4 inch blade. All come with handmade leather sheaths with clip. Full tang.
