Finally!

In case I'm out and about when you do the special offer (it's the best wildflower season in 100 years, in California, you know), put me down for one, now.

Are you finally going to bring out the *********, now, too?

All RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How quick, I am needing to re-do the one i have as the glue is not sticking the leather to the board, it is a home job of course  This looks lightyears ahead of mine :) :D

I'm guessing Jerry would not send me some blue prints for technical reading :D I would need the stroping leather ... that's about it.

:D Wildflower season' huh? Cool pics coming? You could do some infi & flower fields ;)

Side Note: Message confirmed. Follow up to follow....up ;)

'Bout time. :D I'd heard about it from Jerry at Blade West '03, but forgot to follow up with him about it after I got home. It will be a nice upgrade from the loose strip of leather on an old mouse pad I'm currently using.

Funny Jerry posted this now. I was just thinking about that contraption. Got to see Dave use one at Knob Creek. I didn't know if they were made in house or if they got them somewhere. I was planning on asking so I could get one.

Cool.

Well, guess global warming is good for something. Just don't scare the Tourons when you show up ready for desert duty....complete with XXL Terror Monkey. I'd be right behind you if I weren't stuck in the eastern slop.

47cm times 10= 470/25.4=18.5 inches

this seems more reasonable that 47 inches to me and from what i've seen from the picture

there is 25.4 mm in one inch

HandAmerica has stropping leather and even makes belts of it for grinders. 2 different kinds even, for use with or without compound.

So all I would need to make is two parallel cylinders with a t-handle or something to open and close it.. now lets see.. does the leather have a hole in it where the handle enters... ?

oh yeah and compound
