Hey all!

It’s been a heck of a busy year around my little shop, but I have been working in top secret for the last 6 months or so developing my take on a hybrid sheath. Many of my customers have been asking me to do them but I didn’t want to follow the path of others, and I wanted the design to be more leather than Kydex focused.

I feel the end result is is a sheath that has the retention & draw benefits of Kydex along with the warmth, comfort and wear qualities of leather.

Those of you who follow me on Instagram may have already seen an early prototype I did for another brand, but these are the first completed Busse’s. I’d love to hear feedback on what you think.

I have temporarily stopped taking orders while I work through my backlog, but I am keeeping a waiting list that I plan to get to in the next few months. Once I dig out a bit I will be releasing small batches of ready to ship sheaths for recently shipped Busse’s and building inventory to take with me to Blade in June.

Those are sick. I'm always blown away at how precise your work is. That's awesome that even with so many orders you are still pushing forward with new designs. Count me in for one, once things slow down a bit on your end, and on op2w's end...My card needs a break lol.

Looking at this again it's the attention to detail that stands out so well. The color matching especially on the BT6 is just amazing.
It's great to have options and we're lucky to have so many good makers to choose from especially when they all have their own approach and style to fit the theme and look to suit what we're going after in our own desires.
