Well, I'll go with the regulator grip just because of how similar it will look to a BB13 with the basic grip

And I went with the comp.

Eventually I'll start putting together a bunch of YouTube videos comparing a bunch of different choppers I've collected. I've been saying I'll do this for the last couple years but keep putting it off. I chop firewood and tinder pretty much every other day, or more, so I just need to start filming myself and use all of my choppers instead of my little axes/hatchets (I love my little Estwing Fireside Friend splitting axe! I've been using and abusing that little thing for so many years and I'm just amazed that it's still going and how will it still performs!).

Since Jerry is giving people choices regarding the handle on this one, I don’t see why he can’t bring back the standard thickness handle option for those who don’t like the feel of the magnums

Yes. I don’t see a bunch of BB13’s in SR101 or INFI posted for sale as my as I do see other models. This one won’t disappoint for sure.

I know a guy that has both he’d sell

IMHO, the Regulator is by far the best handle, but the slight cant on the Basic handle is also desirable on a blade like this. [Calm down! I said cant.]

Ideal variant would be a canted Regulator handle with an angled guard.

Hey what was that finish we see now an then that has distinct fly cutter style markings.. looked super cool. The nano sfno comp offering had that awesome effect. That was "competition" correct?
Cause most comp finishes I've seen don't look quite like that..

Can someone tell me the difference in the two different finishes? I'm looking for the least amount of machining marks. I usually get coated blades, but might get a TGULB in an uncoated flavor.
