It's the excess material at the end of the balde that hasn't been ground off yet. In the bottom pic you can see it being held onto.
 
Titanium, Elmax, and Rexford...I can dig it. Looks like it has a lockbar insert too.
 
Is it going to have a steel lock face on the lock bar? It certainly appears so with that little hex screw
 
240$ MSRP? I can dig that. I figured it would be more. Definitely a winner in my book along with the 0566 and 0770.
 
No offense ya'll but for me personally I have never warmed up to all metal scales. I like something a bit more grippy. It is, however, a handsome knife overall.
